The first day of Ramadan was on Monday 27th November. Therefore, the Taraweeh prayer will start after Isha prayer (7:30PM). There will be a reminder after the fourth rak'ah of Taraweeh. Space will be provided for sisters for Taraweeh and a creche provided for children under 7 years old. Iftar at the mosque throughout Ramadan will be held on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday EXCEPT for the first week when Iftar will be on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. An informal circle (Dewanyyah) will be held with Sheikh Abdulla Al- Judai on Saturdays between Aser and Maghrib. Two separate Tajweed courses will be held during Ramadan in Arabic and English. Ramadan evening programs will be held after Taraweeh on the following fridays 1st, 8th and 15th December and will be in Arabic. For those wishing to perform Itikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan hot drinks will be supplied be the mosque. However, the brothers are expected to bring their food and sleeping bags.
