The best of those who make mistakes are those who repent

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

"Every son of Adam (i.e. human being) makes mistakes, and the best
of those who make mistakes are those who repent (i.e. ask for
Allah's forgiveness)."
