May
peace be upon you.
On many verses in the Quran, God order people
to
worship only one God and no one else.
Islam does not
teach polytheism such as Greece belief
that worship many Gods such
as Jupiter, Mars, and
Apollo, or the Christians that worship the
Father, the
Son, and the holy spirit.
Allah! There is
no god but He, the Living, the
Self-subsisting, Eternal. No
slumber can seize Him nor
sleep. His are all things in the heavens
and on earth.
Who is there can intercede in His presence except
as
He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His
creatures
as) Before or After or Behind them. Nor
shall they compass aught
of His knowledge except as He
willeth. His Throne doth extend over
the heavens and
the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding
and
preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme
(in
glory). [Al Baqarah:255]
Allah! there is no god
but He, the Living, the
Self-Subsisting, Eternal. [Ali
Imran:2]
On the above verses, the Quran explains that God
is
the Living that could not be crucified or killed. He
is not
sleepy or sleep. He feels no fatigue even after
creating the
universe and maintain it. He knows
everything.
There
is no god but He: that is the witness of Allah,
His angels, and
those endued with knowledge, standing
firm on justice. There is no
god but He the Exalted in
Power, the Wise. [Ali
Imran:18]
There are many more verses in the Quran that
order
people to worship only one God and no one else.
Polytheism
is an unforgivable sin in Islam:
Allah forgiveth not
that partners should be set up
with Him; but He forgiveth anything
else, to whom He
pleaseth; to set up partners with Allah is to
devise a
sin most heinous indeed. [An Nisaa:48]
I
hope we could find the straight way by learning the
guidance from
God in the Quran.
May peace be upon you.
