 Fiqh Rules

•  The time for Udhiya: is after Eid prayer for 4 days ( 10-13 Thulhijja).

•   Age of Udhiya: Five-year-old camels, two-year-old cows and six-month-old sheep are suitable for sacrifice.

• Conditions of Udhiya: The animal to be sacrificed should not have any defect, such as a cut ear, a broken horn or be ill in any manner.

•  Udhiya rule: The majority of the scholars say Udhiya is a Sunnah; however, Imam Abu Hanifah, Rabi'ah and Awza'i (rha) say "it is obligatory for the capable persons."
