Diving operations in the Canal, anchorage areas and berths have to be carried out only by
the qualified diving team of the S.C.A. that can perform the required duties both safely
and efficiently with due consideration given to the safety of the vessel and the
regularity of navigation.
Private diving teams are not authorised to carry out any operations in the canal waters,
without a prior consent of the S.C.A., and under supervision of the S.C.A. diving team.
A fine of USD 750.- will be imposed upon violation.
This circular takes effect as of 1/7/1995.
